It is too bad... If insects can get inside, there may be something cracked. :???:

Well, hopefully they can get it cleaned and maybe the dome replaced before eggs arrive..the other option is to give somebody access to the cam controls that can monitor regularly. Even though the above pics are bad, all of that could be fixed by adjusting the focus. its the same issue we have with Cobb when there are a lot of water spots on the dome..adjust the focus and it bypasses whatever is on the dome...pics aren't perfect, but at least you can see!!

I have to adjust the cobb focus all the time..

Wonder if Nancy could contact Allen to get this accomplished. If not, I would be glad to if I can get his contact information.

His email is in the BCAW members list. That's the way I contact him.

I had to go back through the posts to find Allen's BCAW name! Email sent. I will let you know if Allen has any control over cleaning, replacing or doing anything that might help the quality. Talons crossed!!!

Thanks, Gigi! I did look back through my emails, including deletes to see if I had his address there, but no luck.

The lens is in good shape right now except for the white spot, but I think that just a matter of the ice melting & the sun not shining.

Good. I have not heard back from Allen, but he did say that with cold weather we will see condensation inside the dome. I thought it looked much better today. We'll see what the cold weather over the next few days does to the clarity.

:attention: Well, the cam is off. I'm hoping that maybe the cam dome is being worked on.... Thanks in advance!

That would be great. I did not hear back from Allen, but perhaps he is acting upon our request.
