Haven't seen the new arrival yet, only the posted pictures. Much cooler here this morning. It's 50 degrees right now. Tonight's lows are to be in the high 30s. :-(

Yep, I got to see the two chicks when Niecey left. I guess Lil Dad brought her some breakfast. Lil Dad is now spending time warming the chicks and the two unhatched eggs.

Just checked the temperature there, it's actually a little colder here by a few degrees. :egg14:

This was when Lil' Dad got off the eggs again, but came right back. He's on the lookout for Niecey though.

SHE SURE WAS! SHE WAS WATCHING THOSE EGG SHELLS BLOWING TOO, THOUGHT MAYBE SINCE THEY WERE MOVING, SHE MIGHT TRY TO PUT THEM UNDER HER TOO, LOL!

It's hard to tell this from the cam, but the wind is REALLY blowing from the northwest right now, bringing in some rain and dropping the temperatures. Glad Niecey can keep the chicks/eggs high and dry. Really tough hunting for Lil Dad. Weather at noon said the rain will pass by around 4:00 this afternoon. Just got soaked filling my bird feeders.

Lil Dad made a food delivery a bit ago. Niecey ate some of it, fed some of it to the two chicks, and then took off with the rest of the food, probably her lunch. Good sized pip in one of the eggs. Lil Dad is there now. And while I was typing the first part of this, Niecey came back into the scrape. Was surprised that Lil Dad didn't get up, and Niecey left.
