From FB

Harriet & her new companion friend nicknamed "frequent visitor"
continue their daily routine of hunting/fishing and light "nest"orations.
Unfortunately we think the lightening storms of late have damaged the cams beyond repair.
If unable to fix, we will remove them soon and begin prep for a new year of streaming.
Photo of Harriet yesterday at the nest: by Nora Lang.

Ozzi poor, or will have one to go home?. :egg16:

Harriet found a substitute

Happy to announce this morning at 7:24am, a healed Ozzie was successfully released back into the wild thanks to the great staff at CROW - Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Inc..
A very happy and emotional day for all! We will work to provide updates as we get them on Ozzie's activity and hopeful reunion with Harriet.

Thanks Priscilla and Sky! And don't miss, in addition to above video, Priscilla has posted photos and local Fox news report links on previous page of release. The chat has been opened this am and it is moving fast. The faithful ground crew is there and awaiting possible reunion or return to the nest!

CLINIC FOR THE REHABILITATION OF WILDLIFETOP NEWSWINK NEWS
NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Southwest Florida’s famous bald eagle is flying free once again.

The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) has been taking care of Ozzie since he broke his collar bone.

Ozzie was released Wednesday morning near the Dick Pritchett Real Estate.

After weeks of rehabilitation, Ozzie was placed into a large flying closure to strengthen his ability to fly. Veterinarians say his collar bone didn’t heal completely straight, it remains slightly crooked. But vets say they didn’t want to risk an operation.

Ozzie will also be tracked by vets so if there’s ever an issue, they will be able to find him and help him out.

Ozzie Drinks In His Freedom 06-17-15
Ozzie was released back into the world he loves this morning at 7:24 AM. The release was private so I did not set my eyes upon him until finding him perched on a nearby power pole. Ozzie looked great, drinking in every bit of his freedom quietly before flying strong and swiftly farther to the northwest. Ozzie is back in charge of his own life!!

From Mod @ chat: Jun 17 2015, 5:50 PM
Essec09: 6:48pm: 10 minutes ago it started to rain and Wskrsnwings saw one eagle fly into the pasture and then flew to west pasture. She found the eagle in the west pasture and she said it looks like Harriet.

From mod @ chat: un 17 2015, 6:25 PM
Essec09: Information 'second hand', Harriet was at the "Yonder Pond" with FV before she flew into the west pasture. FV is still at the pond perched on a short snag on the left side of the pond.
