GLORIOUS FALCON DAWN

Koppie, Cadey (youngest) & Burnsie
Incredibly beautiful dawn after last nite storm
5.15 am Cadey has already gone down the roof, Burnsie is still in nest and
Koppie is flapping his wings perched on the curb. The down is flying like snow.
Woops! The Kopster flies up on the bridge! and walks down to the other end.
I also saw a parent in the sky. And its too dark to take a pic.

By 5.30 am all 3 kids were down the line flappin n settin.
5.40 Koppie and Burnsie back in nest
They sure are playful! these 2 HOPPED down to edge of that black mat - and pulled it up! dragged it.

the 5.24 snip is Burnsie - Koppie is already on the ledge
Burnsie and Koppie are pals - its Cadey who is the loner.
6.30 am Barb landed on far end of ledge and galloped up to nest - followed by galloping young
It was all just too fast for a decent snip but I got a bad snip of family - lol - sigh
Koppie screaming at Cadey who grabbed the prey
A couple minutes later the 2 sisters had an all out WAR over prey - WOW! CAT FIGHT! errr ....
6.36 am Good snip of the 3 siblings. You can see how I am using names by feathering
Koppie is likely to go off the edge in a fit of temper! He is in doorway looking like Dad - or up on ledge overlooking the harbor.

Koppie is definitely planning his fledge strategy up on ledge bobbing his head. Get ready!

sky, I believe Koppie is the male with almost no down.
By youngest I mean of the 2 girls.
To do notes, I have to call them the 3 names, then match.
I know in a week or less - there will be only the size diff.

I know the area - but not the roofs! There's a small grassy area (very small) right in front of the building... their 'aim' would have to be spot on for them to land there. (This is such an 'old' nest - does anyone know where they usually 'land?' I'm sure there are 'birders' that work in the building - are any of you HERE?!) I've googled aerial shots of this building a zillion times - to study the roofs - (does that make sense? Remember - I know NOTHING about P.F.'s!)

And - I'm bringing Craig's phone number, the rehab's phone number, the police phone number - and the supplies you mentioned (my phone is the kind with the little keyboard! -and no internet access!). What else?

5.30 am 2 already down at the end, then 2 came galloping up to nest, looked for Dad
YES - BOTH in snip are juv - one up on ledge. I have not yet seen 2 up there
10 am I watched Burnsie and Koppie, and saw her fly up on ledge, then ran down to other end, and flew off
- Cadey is under bridge on other end. She has the most white on head.
- Cadey seems to be the loner. I know its only my guess but its an analyzed one.

LOL bon - YES its our little boy - he looks SOOOOO much like Dad when he's in that doorway!

As to what time .. um .. the kids get active at first light, today thats 5 am
You might ask in the building the falcons are on about previous fledges.
They ought to know - but I havent been impressed with chescon - they appear to prefer osprey
