It half looks like that thing isn't there now except for a white sticker or something. Wish the video was on.

Thanks for posting those pictures, Loza. Looks like that object in the scrape has been turned upside down. Sure hope whatever it is doesn't have any sharp edges or anything that could hurt the falcons.

FINALLY got the point view, and found Lil Dad sitting there as of 8:08 on this lovely evening. And he's still there as of 8:14. It's getting pretty dark.

We were vacationing at Deep Creek Lake in far western Maryland last week. At Deep Creek State Park there they have an aviary where injured birds of prey are kept that have been somewhat rehabbed but cannot be returned to the wild. They have a falcon that had been banded from the nest at TMI, in I believe 2007, and was injured during a snow storm. They also have two red tailed hawks, bald eagle, golden eagle, barred owl, screech owl, and a great horned owl. The birds are on display and well cared for. They are also used for educational programs.

WOW! THAT'S GREAT CAMPER. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WITH US. THE GUY THAT USED TO BAND THE FALCONS AT TMI USED TO WORK HERE IN MY BLDG. THEY COULD ONLY BAND THOSE FALCONS IF THEY WENT TO THE GROUND, SO THAT FALCON HAD BEEN ON THE GROUND BEFORE. YOU GOT TO SEE SOME REALLY AWESOME BIRDS THERE :-)

LIL DAD WAS IN THE SCRAPE SOME AND THEN I GUESS I MISSED THE BONDING BECAUSE LIL DAD IS NOW GONE AND NIECEY IS ON THE SHIELD NOW.
