Some exciting news from Facebook!!

    The installation of two of the new cameras is complete but we still have some logistics to work out before we're able to stream the feed to the public. Although the cameras are not as feature filled as we were hoping, they are a tremendous improvement over the last camera! Since there are two cameras inside the nest box, the kids won't be able to hide in those corners anymore. AND, there will be sound!!!

    We are also hoping to install a third camera which will allow us to see all the action on the ledge of the nest box!

    We did not install the cameras that would allow us to zoom and change the angle for a couple reasons. The main reason being that we agreed with Craig that it would be best to not have any moving parts inside the box since we don't know how the falcons would react to that. For the same reason we won't be using infrared since it emits a large visible red glow.

    We’re really excited about the season to come and hope that you are too! We are hoping for a February 15th “go live” date so please stay tuned!

    The first image below is a view from the second camera and the second image is a zoomed in view from the first camera.
