Oh yes! Terrible! We were sure they would come back. And they cam back. Same geese as in 2015. We are working on a program to shoo them off with flash light and noise from the ceiling of the nest box. Hardware is already installed, software is in work. But ist is not so easy for the program to differ between Pf and Ng...

I could not stand seeing the huge bowl inside made by Nile goose! So I went up and flattened the ground...

Software is learning to know the difference between a PF and a Nile goose. PF will be allowed to go in and out, nile goose will start the alarm! So do we hope!

Female GOOSEZILLA feels happy inside, her mate outside is looking to and fro. Seems to me the falcons are cruising above the steeple but do not dare to attack!

Nest box ground flattened again by me yesterday in order to see who is entering. Today reports from neighbours: falcons were attacking pair of nile geese when they neared the steeple from above. Female nile goose entered but left again after few seconds.
