Came back, went in the box..and now is sitting on the cam...

Correction, she hopped down off the cam and now is on the lower ledge..

I just got off the phone with rosekk17 (who is freezing, poor thing)...and she has only seen the one falcon...so far....but she can't stay much longer...

Thanks for battling the cold!!!

I have video...unless there is a delay in audio, there could have been two falcons on the ledge...I'll process it in a minute...

I'm pretty sure I'm wrong...I just went back over the video...I think what happened was while I was recording, it picked up the falcons from the other cam I had opened (didn't know it would do that..)...I can't be 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened...

I think its time I went and did chores rather than obsess over Columbus...

Before I leave...some nice aerials down the ledge...and then the pigeons thinking of returning...and "changing their minds"...

Oh wow - SGB - thanks for helping me out - I knew you would be awake to be my eyes on the ledge - I missed the fun with the pigeon - it all happened after I left - bummer - that would have been interesting to watch from the ground - Here are a few pictures that I took while I was down there.

I arrived at Broad and High around 8:20 am - looking around I spotted Scout on the Huntington National Bank building- I watched her there for about 45 minutes -

Here are pictures of her sitting on the building

There was a guy who was watching me watch her and he came up to me and asked me what I was looking at - and how I could see her so high up - I was telling him about my bins when all of a sudden she took off from the building - it was so beautiful to watch - she was soaring with her wings fully spread and soared over to the ledge - well, I watched her til she disappeared and SGB said she was in the nest box - I tried to get higher up on the statehouse steps and when I looked back up she was gone - I guess she went in the back of the ledge - you cant see that from the ground - I thought she had flown off - I was cold and had to get home - so I left - it is 35 degrees here - well SGB said she flew off right after I left - she had been there all along - shucks - oh well - I did not see any activity until I got home and see that a pigeon was on the ledge - how funny -

Well, here is a picture of scout on the ledge - I have to get going now - I sing in a concert today and I have to study the words to the music.

have a great day everyone

You are very welcome Kittenface - thank you for the kind words - I wish I could still be there - my feet were getting pretty numb - lol - and my hands too - it was hard to wear my mittens and take pictures - lol - I am finally warming up. I will be downtown next week watching for Scout and hoping to give updates as the week goes along

A big THANK YOU from me, too, rosekk for going downtown on a Sunday morning and watching for a second falcon. You got some great shots of Scout, so it was a worthwhile trip. I can just see you running around downtown Columbus with your bins and camera.
