Short what sounded like an alarm call from - is that Durand on the eggs? I will have to make sure that I can tell the two apart now that we have eggs so I know who is on the nest - :-)

those sure are beautiful eggs BTW - I am so happy that we have the web cams back - thank you tech persons and Donna!!

I, too was wondering about the incubation process already - I wonder, perhaps it is quite hot up there with the unusually warm weather in March - perhaps they don't want the eggs to cook? Maybe it is a way to keep the eggs cool? - just a thought

Could be, rosekk...or they may not actually be incubating (brood patch on eggs) but rather just keeping them covered...
