Dad just came in both on alert screaming wings flying all over screaming looking up screaming. Dad got on the eaglets mom screamed, then finally backed up took poop shot and came back. Well then she nudged dad off took over the babies. Dad left still yelling a bit. Mom back on and settling down.
MY HEART WAS IN MY THROAT. You could here something and I spotted PattiO's little mice, but that wasn't the problem.
I thought I heard the raccoon for a little bit before it all took place.

Great pics, KF...

I tried watching them some today...but they were over to the far right, almost in shadows..then totally in shadows..I was a little concerned when I couldn't see movement in one of them during a feed...but, it could have been the end of a feed and 2 were in food comas...and then I lost them all together in the shadows...and just gave up...LOL

I hope so much that they really are going to give this nest the cam system it deserves. But not going to get my hopes up, it has been 3 years now they keep saying it. Then all of a sudden Decorah gets 2 new HD cams. Well heres hoping.

I tried not to get attacked again, but it didn't work.
I haven't posted a lot or taken many pictures ir videos and this is why

The storm has taken the babies again this year. Mom & Dad have sat in the same places for so long I thought the cam had stopped.
They tried so hard last night but just couldn't win the fight against the storm.
:sorrow:
