Little Dad just arrived with food on the point. Not totally sure, but it looks like a Red-headed Woodpecker. :-(

Niecey took off with the remainder of that food, and Little Dad is now on the stick. Don't know if he's seen the egg yet. And now he's in the scrape with the egg.

Canoodle on the stick about a minute ago. You could see Little Dad coming in from the direction on the train station.

Good grief, I saw a canoodle on the stick and a good five seconds after it was over I heard it, which is opposite of what it's been being. Usually you hear it before you see it.

LIL DAD SHOWED UP AT 5:58 THIS MORNING. HE MUST HAVE BROUGHT HER FOOD ALREADY BECAUSE HE CAME BACK TO THE STICK AND WIPED HIS BEAK AND A BUNCH OF FEATHERS FELL.

EDIT, SHE MOVED TO THE STICK WHILE I WAS TYPING. HOPEFULLY SHE HAS LEARNED WHEN TO GET OFF THE EGG UNTIL IT'S TIME TO BE ON THEM THIS YEAR :-)

I checked about 2am and she was standing in front of the scrape. Then I was up to let the dog out around 5:15 and she was getting on the egg.

Am seeing Little Dad on the stick right now. If my memory is correct, Niecey sat on eggs before it was needed in previous years also.

YES, LAST YEAR HE HAD QUITE THE TIME GETTING HER TO STAY OFF THE EGGS UNTIL IT WAS TIME. I THINK SHE'S DOING BETTER THIS YEAR :-)
