Kind of hanging over the edge, a little. And Sleeping, no less.



Ok, he's moved back in some since I posted. Lil' Dad is there watching and Niecey is on the point.

Thanks for the updates. A few of us will be downtown tonight just in case we're needed.

Not much to report from our watch tonight. LOTS of wing flapping by Red. The highlight of the evening was watching Little Dad and Niecey canoodling on the corner of 333.

boy, that time already

Back from the early morning watch. There were actually two food deliveries. One was dropped off, and for the second one Little Dad was beak feeding two of the boys. It has been confirmed they are ALL boys. Shortly before 6:00 there was a canoodle on the top of 333.

Chaotic feeding. Never even knew if it was Lil' Dad or Niecey. Chicks flapping wildly on the stick (2 of them) in anticipation of the prey delivery. Another one at the post flapping. One chick grabbed it and two of them were both tugging at it. I swear I thought that one was going to back right off the ledge. Finally parent came in and got control.

And then there was this.

Two of them stood there for the longest time together, looking over the edge. I thought they might jump off together.

No seriously, I would have had a heart attack for sure.

Red just came flying up the ledge without touching the ground!!!!! Other two about to go around the column.

One on point, one by stick and other by orange post. Who will be first to go?

I also have had cam issues today. Looks like nobody has fledged yet, and kind of hoping it stays that way until Friday. Tomorrow sounds like it's going to be very wet and it might be tough for anyone to be watching from outside. Often they don't fly in the rain. Again, asking if any of you who are local could possibly help watching at any time over the upcoming weekend to PLEASE send me a private message and I'll get back to you. We could REALLY use extra help.

only seeing two this morning. Wonder where number three is? Maybe went around the column??

I believe Red is the one not seen. I saw white's band. These two are flapping back and forth.

Shortly before 6:00 this morning, one of the boys tried to get over to Niecey on the other side of the column. Bumped his wings against the column, and the next thing there's a juvie flying down Aberdeen. After a good half hour or so of searching, he was located sitting on the roof of an apartment building along Aberdeen behind the Carson Building. We aren't certain which one. SO glad there were quite a few volunteers down there at 5:30 this morning. We all got QUITE wet. There are people down there watching him right now. Hope those other two stay put.

Just saw red tape on the bird that was sort of out on the stick. So it's White that accidentally fledged earlier this morning. Now not sure.

Niecey on he stick, two kids eating I gues a small bird. One is definately white. Haven't been able to see other ape yet.

I think the other one is Red. Not sure lightly not good.
