It appears that 41/AX laid an egg overnight, which could mean that she lost (or dumped) egg #2 & #3 during a possible altercation with a rival bird over the weekend. It's hard to know what actually happened, but there is no reason for a healthy adult to not lay a full clutch of eggs since we know there is plentiful food sources in this urban habitat. Time will tell if she lays another egg or not.

jersey city. male is on eggs right now. they do not have outside box showing outside , so cannot see happenings.. looking at my tape to see who was on when I came in

I had been away so do not kno w what has gone on, bu t male was on when I got in thi s morning and he left and is back on at 10:51am . noon en when I went to bed.

they briefly showed outside but it would be nice to have one cam showing outside so we can see who i s around

yes, I knew it. she was not fully incubating at night. so i felt sh e was going to lay another. and I watched two nights in a row her go in the stance. although it may appear unusual , it i s not. have seen this a few times, when a female is under stress.
