11/09 Harriet , later together , departures together too

They had a peaceful night. At one point M15 ended up in the nest with Harriet in the attic for awhile, they seemed to change places to sleep through out the night. Right now, Harriet is on the OCT, but hard to see unless she moves. It's going to be a rainy day here.

Harriet is on the attic and and M15 on the outer attic for now!

They had a peaceful night and Harriet ended up flying to the nest at 1:45 am per mods. They have been mating and busy with nestorations this morning!

She's on the attic and he is on the outer attic. Hoping the peaceful nights continue for these two and the owls found another nest for their young. We are only approximately 1-3 weeks from eggs here.

Harriet flew to the nest (sorta) at 11:35. She's perched on a branch at the top of the rails with her back to us.

Harriet is currently on the outer attic. They had a peaceful night per mods. The spot I tried to describe above where Harriet perched last night was the veranda.

They are in their usual places on the attics tonight. Have been watching during the day and Harriet is spending more time in the tree at least. So, she's staying closer to home now. There's a reason for that! :5val:

Harriet is on the tree preening. They had a peaceful night per mods. M15 brought in a headless fish for her to the nest earlier this morning and the mods reported she appreciated it very much. She had already eaten some remains that were on the nest prior to M15's delivery.

12:22p H to the inside extension of lower outer attic, back to outer attic. 12:24p
H flies off, M follows. One returns to the treetop perch.

We are on Egg Watch!

EGG!! Congratulations Harriet and M15!! Good look at 1709! M15 has not seen yet!! He sees it right after this time!! Sorry, he did see it before this time, but I am going back on the DVR to confirm when laid and when he saw for the 1st time. BRB!

Official time is 1657:37, M15 was there, but seemed unaware going about his work of moving sticks, I thought she was going to have to push him away so she could lay it!! First time you can see the actual egg is in the 1658 minute and he is off the nest at this time having hopped up to a branch, but eventually you can see him in the attic. He delivered a stick at 1722 and then turned toward her and pulled on some of the fluff next to her wing and then her wing. He may be suspicious ... but, he has not seen the actual egg as of 1826 and I believe he is right above her in the attic!

Harriet laying the egg was soooooooo smooth, you could really tell this is "old hat" to her!! :5val:

Harriet is currently lying on the egg and M15 is on the outer attic. I don't think M15 has seen the egg after scanning the DVR. She's been off of it some, but he's remained on the outer attic asleep when they have captures of him. Maybe he'll hop down to the nest in the middle of the night or certainly he'll see it in the morning!
