gretchen_AEF (Admin): WEDNESDAY TUCK-IN: Your"handy dandy" ground crew wasn't available to tuck tonight, but our cam op, wingman, heard them in a distance by the cam microphone, and they were just heard as well. It sounds like they are likely in their ST in the LY. They tend to be almost as predictable as Romeo and Juliet were! Gotta love 'em! SED to Samson and Gabby and to all their loving fans!

gretchen_AEF (Admin): THURSDAY TUCK-IN: Soon after we arrived at the nest for tuck, Gabby flew in. Looking up from a distance, it was clearly Gabby judging on size (lol) AND we didn't even see her crop! Holy Moly she packs it in!! Samson didn't arrive, so we went over to the LY. He soon arrived and vocalized (possibly calling Gabby over). Within a minute she came flying in and landed near him. They exchanged sweet vocals that were heard on the cam microphone. They were fully tucked before 6pm, but missed chat. SED Y'all

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): Several vultures flying around now, one landed on lower branches of the nest tree, then flew off, and at 1:48, Samson joined Gabrielle on Lookout Point to help keep an eye on those intruders!

tweetie_AEF (Moderator): After a long beautiful visit with our sweet couple, Gabrielle flew off at 2:44, and Samson followed a few seconds later. Hopefully they are going out for lunch, and will return in a bit!

Gabby flew at 5:50 from the nest!! He flew at 5:26! Looks as if they will spend the night at the LY!!

aka_AEF (Moderator): Good afternoon awesome Hamlet family! We still have one vulture perched lower nest side at 3:14. Our friend flies at 3:21. Our vulture friend is back at 4:10 then flies. Two vultures came back for a minute and perched on the sleeping branches then flew at 4:48. Ground crew are on their way out to the nest tree. Gabrielle arrives and perches at the Wallenda Branch at 5:11 then flies to nest at 5:14 for a few nesterations.

aka_AEF (Moderator): Samson arrives at the nest at 5:18 and they exchange beak kisses. So sweet! Off she goes at 5:24 and Sam follows at 5:26. We have deer on the lawn near the nest at 5:32. Gabby returns and is doing nesterations at 5:41. Off she goes at 5:50. Vocals can be heard in the distance.

gretchen_AEF (Admin): FRIDAY TUCK-IN: Gabrielle was at the nest when we arrived for tuck. Samson later flew in then out, and Gabrielle followed suit in the LY direction. Off to the LY we went. Neither of them were there! Then Samson came flying in from another direction while Gabrielle returned to the nest. He had his eye on the nest from the top of the LYT. She later flew in and landed on their ST and they exchanged sweet vocals. Their roosting has become predictable and so nice they are near the nest if not at the nest

Gabby came to the nest tree during the night in such a manner as to cause mod jd to think she was possibly bothered by an owl at the LY!!

jd_AEF: 12:28 am Loud vocals heard and it appears to be Gabrielle who has arrived at the nest tree. She appeared crouched and a bit stunned like she had had an owl encounter. Samson could be heard nearby also vocalizing.
