:1snowman: It was announced we are officially on "pip watch" early this morning on Hancock and announcement above chatroll here says "hatch watch". Seems early, but time flies! Currently, Harriet is on the eggs and M15 is on the outer attic. No owl visits last night! This was the 1st I was able to see Hancock today as I have experienced problems with internet services since last night.

:taz: Another "OWL ATTACK" at 8:13 this evening that knocks M15 off the branch. This is the summary under Lady Hawk's video:

"Things have been quiet over the last 12 days since the last owl attack upon M15. Tonight, the owl returns and flies past the nest tree and immediately circles back and with intent slams into M15 knocking him hard from the branch. M falls and then flies towards the church and circles back to the right and then flies past the nest towards the church again and back to land in the upper attic while Harriet is alerting on the nest. In regular time and slo mo - views from the nest cam and 360. Thankfully M is not injured. Thank you for watching!"

:rudolf: Edit to add: Saw on chat earlier an admin responding to a viewer asking why the lighting looked different tonight? Told the viewer they "hung an IR light" here. I guess they mean from afar as they would not be able to approach the nest tree at this time. The nest and Harriet look very pretty in this light tonight!!

:1snowman: Saw the video with M15 catching a fish at the pond this morning and bringing it to the nest to eat, I think it was 9 something. He left some for Harriet. So, can be seen just a few more minutes on the DVR. Harriet is on the eggs and M15 is on the outer attic!

:1snowman: At 1:02 is the most recent pip look. M15 brought a half eaten fish to the nest for Harriet, because he knows it's eggy time!! He waited as she didn't get up right away and then he walked to the other side of her and began tending to the nest. She got up and left, but did not eat or take the fish with her. Now M15 has his time with the pipping egg. Did not see any real progress from loza's pic above.

:rudolf: At 5:17, M15 arrives to the nest with a slightly more than half-eaten catfish from the wrong end that Harriet grabs before getting up! She gets up and M15 and we get to see the eggs. The pipped egg is on the left and the pipped part is slightly obscured, but we get to see movement of the pipped part of the shell, but no beak. Harriet did not eat, only placed the fish to the side and got back on the eggs. M15 flies to the OCT at 5:18 and to the pond for a drink at 5:19 that can be seen from the pond cam. Although the pip was obscured, I could not see progression with this view.

 M15 finally flies in to the tree at 7:12 this morning landing on a branch on the right side of it. We hear vocals from Harriet when he arrives. She gets up at 7:19 and flies up into the tree on the left and M15 down to incubate at 7:20. During this clear view of the eggs ... I see nothing. Through the night, I could hear the chick loud and clear at times from the 360 cam.
