5 am EWW! BIG spider!
7.15 Enter AU to floor then boxtop, favoring RIGHT leg, I thot he favored it yesterday too
( bird has bands, hopefully our AU )
7.25 female flies in and enters box, then leaves
The banded had left before this one arrived

Where ya goin bev and for how long?

Someone perched on top corner of box, they been there a while. 8:50 Food drop off and someone eating on the ledge. Seems to be quiet at the moment, haven't seen any fly bys.

Sounds like a month!

we are changing residence. downsizing , and going into a temporary place till november and then to our new place. so busy , busy and trying to keep track of these guys. They all need to settle down :girlyes:

There were two birds (both banded) at the box ..female went in the box male stayed on the ledge. They left and someone came back to the box and then perched on camera housing.

so that may have been a banded female I was seeing later yesterday. I was thinking it had a black band . I was thinking but not sure. we may have had a pair trying to come in, as shep suggested yesterday. maybe the ones seen not far away. would be a shame as other looked like she was ready to lay eggs.
but the aerial we were seeing in videos appeared to be male to male .
We shall see now this plays out. thanks carolyn :15heartbeat:

I think male( one who started day and was on late at night) does also. It was hard to tell yesterday. I think it was the light. so we will look for size , and markings now. soemtimes looking at wrong leg :girlcrazy:

Philadelphia, PA uses a b/g band
Barb falcon in Baltimore

is this male still AU?

I wondered if 2 pairs were fighting for this box

I am moving just 15 minutes away , form st albert to edmonton. the packing is the pitts.

will watch as much as i can. last night we still had AU and I guess we will have to wait out female to be sure. what a merry go round

this is our male . easier to tell when he perches there

will try and get bands of birds if I can , but I am sure others will also.

trying to read band but food in way
just saw something flying left on my screen but no one seems upset

this female has a heart shaped on her left side as she faces out. She seems to have claimed nest.

He's in the box and the banded female is in the nest box. I was hoping the last gal he was with last season (the 1 y/o) would be his mate this year as I really loved her. She was banded, but I would think she could not have transformed this much. But, I'll take whoever is his mate this year. I keep wanting to review last season to freshen my memory, maybe will get a chance to do that later today.
