Niecey in the nest. Hard to know what's going on in there, if anything.

she had been changing positions like they do when preparing for egg laying. sh e is groin to wait till we are all in bed

I've been watching Niecey standing in the scrape for an hour or so. I've not gotten the impression that she has done anything but standing there. If she was at the roost site, she'd be doing the same thing except that we can see her in the scrape. :-)

well I guess it was before the hour you were watching.
she wen t over to the left and stood in the stance, and then she went more over to top right and did same thing, then she scraped. and now sh e is sleeping. they do that.
guess I should have made a video. but no time

I see I'm not the only one watching the scrape tonight!

Well it's 12:30 and I'm headed to bed. She is still there but I can't see an egg. Good night Niecey.

Ok so I stayed up a little later,.

Niecey is sitting on the shield this morning, and no egg yet. I see the Dove wing is gone from the point, but not the thing that I thought was a Red-winged Blackbird. Maybe that's not what it is. It's raining here, but not cold.

Niecey jumped out of the box so quickly, I thought an intruder was around. I then looked back at the point and Lil'Dad was gone. Niecey went to the stick and in a few minutes food arrives at mid ledge.



Well I almost got the picture. Niecey was moving pretty fast

All is well at 6:11

Little Dad stayed on the point until around 7:20. Niecey had been lying in the scrape then, but I see she's standing in front of it now. A band of wind and rain is coming through our area right now.

maybe we will wake up to one. now off to bed
