Adult had been out on the “far” perch, looking like they were guarding and looking for their mate. The chicks stirred and the adult hopped over to a closer perch, it still didnt go in with the babies....

She has been looking for Yankee for a couple of days now! Chicks should be covered right now, it is really chilly this morning.

I hope she covers them tonight as it will be going down to the 30's.

She's feeding right now. Cams 2 and 3 are out for me, so don't know if she went out to get brunch or if Yankee brought it to her.

sometimes if an intruder around, male is on guard mode. and maybe dropping food when he can . will keep recorder on and check to make sure cams are all goin g and not stopping

Dixie just left and came right back with a prey . so yankee must be hunting and putting in stash. will try and post a few pictures later

I just watched that. I sure hope so, Bev. so unlike Yankee to not sit with the kids while Dixie is prepping.

Dixie flies out and is back in a minute and a half with prey

I know SGB.
have not had as much time to watch and yankee is on e of my favorites

I did see that. I sure hope he/she is right!!

I just now saw one of the chicks. The other baby is probably tucked away in the corner. I can't believe they are moving around already!

Personally, I haven't seen Yankee since last Friday. Thank you for the captures Carolyn and Bev.

it is 10pm and I have cam up since abut 12:30pm
in that time I saw 3 good feeds. two from fresh prey and one a left over she brought back

but when she left to get prey, she was back in about 2 minutes each time with a fresh prey. she is wither a mighty good hunter or someone is supplying food.
I did not see see yankee , but I am hopeful

sh e is with her chicks right t now

I will keep it up till I go to bed and then put back up first thing.

i just put cams up . just after 8am where I live

dixie just finished a good feed for chicks. will monitor as much as I can

Just checking in...only a few minutes to do any good...Dixie is feeding right now...I did not see her leave or come back...so, not sure if she had to go get something herself.

I still have my fingers crossed that Yankee is out there somewhere, but we know how much he loves being with the kids, so realistically, I think something's up!!

Unfortunately...gotta go!!

Edit to add: From the peregrine place FB page. Carly reported seeing Yankee drop off food at 8 am this morning. :sum9:

..I report this with caution. Unless the cams are back in sync, Dixie can be in the box AND on the perch at the same time...LOL I can't tell ya how many times I have been :girlcrazy:

by that!!

Now I really gotta go.

yes, I got an email form CArly. unfortunately I am not up till just before 8 which is 10 buffalo time. but dixie is getting food from somewhere.
