Bird Cams Around the World

The chicks have had a few good feedings today. Yay! Dixie is attentive to them but she is also on guard.
Here are a couple of captures from right now. One of the chicks broke away from the huddle and quickly moved back to his or her sibling. Look at those feet............................... Anyways we are having a real cold spell here. So it's no wonder they snuggle with each other. Wednesday should be in the 50's and that's a good thing.

Our chicks are moving around today and catching some rays ......

DIXIE is up under the cam feeding the little ones.... I too find it very strange that Yankee has not come to the box to see his little ones. Not normal behavior for Yankee.

So there is a banded falcon in the box with the chicks but I am not entirely sure it is our Yankee but I sure hope it is. Dixie in on the perch. The kiddos are relaxing.............

I plan on riding over this weekend a couple of times.

I have no t been able to watch but I am glad Yankee is back. I think he was patrolling as maybe another male an area.

I remember driving to tow of my sites weh I did not see male for quite a bi t but food was evident. and sure enough , another falcon in area. sometimes they just have to keep guarding., and will make sure larder is full later on in day or early in morning.

We have a lot to this this year at 3 of our sites. this , of course, is just a thought and opinion,

All is quiet right now- one baby is napping while the other is preening. Dixie is, as usual, out on the perch watching.... [b]UB[/b]

OOOPS! One of the chicks is stomping around out on the ledge! Mom doesn’t seem concerned......Ok, now he /she Has turned around and strolled back next to the perch. And then he layed down for a refreshing sunbath.
