I came in on the end of the feed. She's very patient about feeding the chicks and when a mouth is open, she feeds it. She fed the little one as long as his mouth was open!

The bites are too big. It's a struggle for everybody. She needs to be patient for sure if she can't get the right size bites to them. Well, I always freak out when they are so young.

Nice pictures catwoman, I saw some of the feed too.

Great pics, Catwoman. Nice to have one where we can see....the bites are a tad to big...I think that's why she's constantly picking up the ones dropped.

Mom moves left and baby moves closer to the pile. I think this is #4 through her legs.



Getting a bite



All were down toward the end..so, guess they got their fill.

it is a good thing are similar in size. She reminds me our female at the MIs. she was so slow feeding. took forever sometimes but was methodical and everyone got fed. so fingers crossed her

th e male here is terrific. H e has done 2 feeds so far and is great at it. so between then, I think all get fed

dad did a feed after that Nancy and I watched that wee one move in finally and i am sure it go fed. It was there where food was .
dad does a lot of feedings. He is great. they all seem pretty dozy

Thanks, Bev! He didn't turn around to mom when he stood up and that told me he wasn't interested in eating.

Mom's feeding again, which I appreciate. Today is a very hot day and she needs to keep those chicks hydrated!

Now that she moved, I can see that all 4 participated in the feed!

you can tell she is a new mom. and he is guiding her. He is great. same as male at Multifood. He feeds when female is there. Even gives female a few bites. she feeds also.
