I was hoping they might sleep in the scrape tonight, but no dice. At least they moved on the ledge so that they're about even with the orange post. BIG thanks to whoever got the cams back online. :-)

Saw a feeding around 8 this morning. Niecey is sunbathing in front of the scrape and chicks in the shade of the orange post. Another really hot day is in store here in Harrisburg. Maybe some rain mater today.

Looks like those three boys will be sleeping WAY down at the end of the ledge tonight. Sure wish they'd move up even with the orange post. I don't remember chicks sleeping way down there in the past.

It's amazing how much they can change overnight with their feathers. Nature is wonderful to watch and so glad we get to see it so close up. :7val:

Saw a feeding over toward the column a little before 8 this morning. First time I've seen a feeding there. Right now I can only see two chicks, and am assuming that #3 is behind the shield out of view. MUCH cooler here today. Very overcast with a breeze and chance of showers. heat is supposed to return on Wednesday, but then more seasonable temps.

:flirty: Three wet chicks, one of them on the fat part of the stick and the other two standing by it. Niecey just flew in and is on the stick.

A while ago they were having fun playing in the rain. And later one of those boys was standing on the fat part of the stick for a LONG time, exactly where Little Dad would stand. Made me get very misty.

I'll tell ya, Jane...every time I open all the cams, my eye immediately goes to the location of the cam near the point...of course, you can't see it in these current views, but I remember how Lil Dad always sat on top of that cam. My muscle memory immediately looks for it every time I open the cam to see if he's up there...sigh.

:loveheart2: When I saw the one chick on the fat part of the stick, the first thing I thought of was Lil Dad. The second thing I thought of was "like father. like son"! In other words, when selecting where's a good place for me to perch for awhile, he made the same selection his father did!!

I believe that's an uneaten Jay that's lying near the stick. They worked on it some, but didn't have much luck with it. Pretty sure Red is the one with the most fluff. He likes to try to self feed.

Thank goodness they are laying down. Hope when they get up they go the other way. I don'tlike seeing them go around the pillar.
