Feed in progress with 2 participants so far. The biologist is moving the cam views right now. A 3rd one just arrived from the left. When I went back in there were only 2 again, then saw 3rd one walk by and go to the left tunnel. Feed over at 12:15 and parent left with remainder. Parent ate some from this meal too.

Is it me or does that white fuzzy not look right in front of the chick?

Hahaha! It was it's wing! :teehee:

The view is so crisp right now, we are seeing details not normally seen. It had looked as if the chick were lying on top of another very flat chick to me. Scared the dickens out of me!

The box chick is now up....and out...Only parent on cam now.

Dad in with almost a whole bird, bottom half missing. No takers, he went into the nest that was empty and came back out and dangled it in front of one in the tunnel and it finally came out. Soon a second one came out. Feed in progress! Then Dad decided he better defeather, feeding halted. Then he tried offering the whole thing and one by one they walked away from him, so he is defeathering more. One headed back into the tunnel, then I got the COD and when working again, Dad is in the nest and feeding the one left outside of the box. He kept trying to feed the rest of the bird to it in a whole clump, but it won't take it, so Dad came out of the box and offered it to it, but no. So Dad is back to tearing and feeding it. Feeding completed at 4:53 real time and Dad walked toward the cam and out of view and then you could see a wing flap as he went up onto the ledge probably. Eventually, Dad came down the ledge in view and went up against the building and looked backward and upward, then down behind the nest box and soon he jumped down there. So, guess some of them are behind the nest box. He hopped back up on the ledge at 4:59 and looked out toward the city, then flew.

Can view the nest and surroundings again tonight, but only see one chick and it sleeping up against the right wall.

At least 2 chicks against the wall now.

Not sure what is going on if anything. Came in and adult over by the tunnel with it's back to us and can see 2 chick heads in there. Hoping to do a head count with all 4 chicks today. The adult stuck it's head in the tunnel, then chewed on the nest box and light fixture. It was Mom, she hopped up to the ledge at 13:02 nest time, stood a bit, the walked down the ledge and hopped down behind the nest box.

I was watching that too...I think it was a "snack"..

Unless they blocked off the area near the cam, the kids can go around that corner...

She hopped back up at 13:09 and came down the ledge and tried to see along the side of the nest in the tunnel where they are. I think she wants them to come out of there. Then she hopped back down in front of the tunnel and spread her wings slightly. She keeps poking her head in there. At 13:11, she went to the lip of the nest. The cam clock jumped to 13:16 abruptly and all of a sudden she appears back in front of the tunnel without seeing her go down there. She's chewing on the nest box and just seems to be shielding them from the sun. Guessing at least 2 maybe 3 in the tunnel and other/others behind the nest. BBL.
