:omg Parent tried to land on ledge and missed and dropped downward! It only had partial footing. In a bit, one flew down from roof maybe and then I saw the turning point of a flyby. At least one parent is circling in air out from ledge area.

yep...saw that....wondered if it was the second parent that saw the pen for the first time...probably expected to land on the "floor"..

Missed the pic as trying to get a head count at another nest.

:buzzybee: I don't know, could have been. The fly by and fly down and circling is definitely behavior you see when they are alarmed at something they perceive as danger at their nest. I'm hoping whoever attempted that landing didn't get too much stress on that leg or talons. Chick out of the nest at 5:57 real time!
