With the 2 boys on the lip and 1 female, all with their backs to us, you can really see the size difference in them right now! WOW!!

The way they keep looking up, I think a parent is on the nest roof or pen roof. Went back in and 1 dropped down, so maybe they were watching it up there. In a bit, it went back up there and down again.

I've been gone all day...so,I sure hope there have been some feeds...because this one at 6 pm was NUTS at the very start...and it wasn't a long feed.

Dad..(has anybody seen Mom?)

Big food fight..

There may have been another food delivery about an hour later as one of the kids looked like they had a large portion of prey. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted that footage....but, it was one of the worst food fights I have witnessed so far this season...it actually looked really dangerous. Prey exchanged kids several times and it was just a flurry of wings and feathers and feet. One chick ran headlong into the side of the cage trying to get away from the others...it was pretty bad stuff..

As much as we're gonna hate to have to say goodbye to these kids...its time to open the pen before somebody really gets injured..or a lot more food needs to come in!!

A parent (I hope mom...but, really couldn't tell) did visit around 8:17 with a small morsel that one kid got...

and btw...cam is off line..all appeared calm when the cam stopped.

When I checked on them today, I was not fortunate enough to catch a parent. They were just milling about the nest and pen.

Thanks, sky! The cam is back and all is quiet for now, 2 in the nest and 2 out in the pen.

Every time I've checked today, it has been quiet. Mainly some are in the nest or they are in the shady portions of the pen. Have not been able to catch a parent yet.

Parent seems to be near from their reactions! They were vocal and tracking and any in the nest ran out to the pen to join the others. If was a parent, they did not stop in, maybe they will before dark.

Just finished a feed with Dad...I'll post some pics in a few, but between glare/blur/spider webs, its tough to see this time of day.

(hard to see) That's yellow off to the side. The last few feeds I've been lucky enough to catch, she seems the most timid and off to herself...

When a space cleared, she came in. It was a little late as the feed was almost over.

Mom just came in and brought part of a prey item. (can't tell what), but instead of feeding like dad, she just handed it off. Blue got a useless wing and 2 of the others are toward the back of the box. I can't tell what they are doing or if they have a piece.

He flew (with his precious wing) from the box to the pen!!

he finally slowed down long enough to see if there was any meat on that wing.

I swear, Blue makes me nervous. He's high strung..and a tad crazy!! He's either gonna be a super flyer right at the get go or super careless and in trouble...I sure do hope they have plenty ready for fledge watch.

Kind of odd, all 4 are in the front of the pen facing the city.

Feed with Dad has been going on now for about 30 min. Prey item had two leg bands...so, possibly a homing/racing pigeon...poor thing. Maybe they can retrieve the bands and let the owner know..

Unfortunately, Orange has one of the banded legs. Hopefully the band will fall off before she eats it!!

From the feed.

Dad's coming...2 chicks up on the pen.

As expected, Chaos

Orange retreated to the box. She did this several times during the feed.

Eventually came back out.

Double bands on prey item...not sure I can read them.

One of Orange's box retreats. Droopy right wing...It probably means nothing. She always came back out.

Orange back out (eventually)~far left. One of the boys in the box..Yellow in center. Proud of her...she's the one that usually retreats to the box..at least with the feeds I catch.

Orange didn't stay out long. She headed back to the box. Here the boys in front, Orange in box, Yellow in front of box.

Somebody snagged a huge bite and 3 ran to the box. Orange saw her chance and came out. Dad was about done, and she only got 1 or 2 bites.

Blue figured out what was going on and came out. that's blue behind orange..

Dad handed off one of the banded legs to Orange.

She ate the whole thing...band and all...UGH!!

I know that Mom handed the other leg to another kid. I'll have to check my vid later to see who got it.

10:22: Mom arrives with food...a smaller prey item...but, instead of feeding, she hands it off to one of the kids.

Mom is now feeding Dad's leftovers..

I'll do some pics later.

They're watching somebody overhead. Hope it's not Mom and Dad with food not knowing that they can't get it. :girlsad3:
