Here's the video of the last feeding :

They are so precious!!! :cloudnine:

Polly was there when Roger brought food, then Mom went to the storage place, took the older food (caught a few hours ago) and replaced it with the new food - then fed the chicks. Polly saw everything and she did not move, but you can hear her scream :-)

Still see egg under her but a few shell pieces that were not there earlier. so could it be hatching???

What a relief that the 3rd hatch was the one with the extra shell attached. The 4th should hatch with no problem hopefully. Great video, Wizzz! Thanks to all for the photo captures today. :egghatch:

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo thrilled that that egg has hatched...I was so worried...I've got the cam open now..and it looks like Spirit is getting them all tucked underneath her..how precious...

Interesting question about the Alarm calling...It must convey another message...I've noticed Scout (Columbus) doing it this season...I don't remember her doing it last year...I never see a threat (of course, sight is limited to the cam view) but with Scout, it seems to be more of a "you'd better get up here, Trooper, and take your turn~very demanding...maybe its Polly's version of a tantrum...

Now, I'm off to watch the video!!

there was a big piece of fluff on her beak but cam went down just as I was clicking.
I am a bit worried aout this fluff as it seemed to have a bit of blood on it. Hopefully not from a hatching chic

There was some calling but sound was electric static

I really wonder why Polly would be alarm-screaming like this al the time.
I personnaly don't think she is jalouse, it rather seems to be big warnings about her position (which is in fact the same, but in a way of aggressive fear to loose her place with Roger).
I don't like these alarms very much; cause I think she'll never submit (as we begin to know her.)
Nevertheless, at about 7 minutes in the film her sounds became higher and more demanding.
But at the end the alarm-screamings were back again.

How do you feel about this Eve?

Polly is on outside screeching away. I can see her on other cam. they need ot stay put as they are.

I cannot take pictures and write in forum with this cam so I will close out now

Polly is on the outside perch. I can see from the outside cam that a large falcon is there & I'm hearing calling--wouldn't exactly call it screaming. I feel sorry for her--her world is turned topsy turvy now & she doesn't understand. Parent is inside on the chicks/egg.

Oh my, the other parent is now on the perch with her. I can see by the size that its Roger outside with Polly & Spirit in the box.

I figured that Roger was trying to entice her to go hunting when he was on the perch with her. He left before she did. I worry as well... :-(
