I can't tell you how happy I am! This chick was exactly 37 days from the date the 2nd egg was laid. Last year her 1st hatch was 36 days and then the next 3 all hatched on the 37th day.

That would be exciting if she did the same with the last two eggs and have them both hatch today. I have to admit I was getting very nervous as each day went by but the way that both of them were incubating those eggs, I just felt that Moxie had it all under control so I put my trust in the two of them

I'm so happy the parents have this one baby. They're such good parents!

There seems to be a lot of 'lost' eggs this year - more than usual.
That could be due to so many 2 year old moms or dads.

They are the best, Cat! This makes number 38 for Moxie & Jamie
