I was just watching both adults attend to a feeding. Mom was pulling off bits for the chicks, but then dad stuck his head in and she gave him a piece. He ate that one, but after that if she gave him a piece he would try to give it to a chick! So cute!

Flash is one of the sweetest silliest male falcons I've ever seen!
He is so tender and patient with his mates and chicks.
This child bride 2 year old female is strange, but she's a newbie.

Last year both Flash and his mate fed their chicks together.

Mama is feeding her 3 feisty chicks. I see dad out on the perch keeping watch. Feed is over,chicks are in a pile. The one on top gives his little wings a double flap- there’s a sassy one! :loveheart:

WOW...great catch, Terka!! So the female is 6...so..she made an appearance at Port Washington Late last year? Glad she found a home.

OHH ! M43, who kept Beasley company while Brinn was away on winter migration for 2 springs in a row at Port Washington! I too am glad she has found a home of her own!

RACINE- Greg Septon banded Racine’s three chicks on Friday, May 23. -Three boys named in honor of 3 individuals who had made a lasting impact on Racine County. The chick’s names are Bucky, Uecker, and Rooney. As usual, no band numbers given. If you go to Racinecounty.com, and then to “Falcon cam” on that page, they have a video of the banding.

They may all be perching outside now.
I saw ONE on outer side perch - barely visible.
This means all is normal. GOOD.

At dawn all 3 were sitting on the green -
so no fledge - or fludge. Good.

Patterning previous years, in a day or 2 they will roof - one by one they will hop down on the roof curb - and soon not be seen.

Our pair have done well.
