I redid niecey flying off stick. she went straight down . you can see where she landed at corner of roof and one flew off to left and then you see one up in air . I think little dad was down there also. one ended up in corner of building to right. cams are not in sinc so hard to figure out but I had this on e recording.

this would all happened around 6:35pm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlhX0CT ... e=youtu.be

then doing one of little dad .
this one shows a falcon come to corner of roof down there from left side and then fly up to shield in about a minute . It was little dad

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jK7h_QH ... e=youtu.be

both of these vidoes if ai put them together are in about in a 5 minute period from when Neicey left.

this should be better. was in a hurry before so watch these two.

It's kind of hard to figure out what was going on from your video, Bev. Sure wish there was some way to rewind what happened off the point around 4:45. I know Niecey was on the point and I saw what I figured was Lil Dad flying toward her and then there was another falcon in view. It looked like Niecey may have gone to the window sill right around the corner from the nest ledge, or else she flew down Aberdeen, the small street directly under the end of the ledge.

I redid them all Jane so easy to figure out now

Mating @ 1836 on the point! Just prior, Niecey flew from the point and headed toward the roof of the U, but another falcon was flying there and it looked as if they tagged each other and I was concerned the intruder was the other falcon. Then abruptly, she shows up on the point and there was a mating with Lil Dad I guess and he flew to the U, while she remained on the point. Since, Lil Dad has arrived back to the shield.

Thanks for your vids, bev! I brought what I saw @ this time forward to coincide with your videos. My head is still reeling from all I saw this eve here. And to think they were able to slip in a mating on the point in between what is shown on your videos ... I'm surprised I saw what I saw switching between cams! Wish we had a video of the 3 falcons seen @ 4:45 on and near the point! And, she laid an egg after all this activity!

:15heartbeat: As I leave @ 11:02 EDT, Niecey is peacefully standing by her egg ...

:15heartbeat: Guess I've missed Lil Dad seeing his egg for the 1st time. I just came in and found the egg visible in the nest with Lil Dad on the fat part of the stick and Niecey on the point. Maybe I'll get to see his 2nd view!

I don't think I can get over to where I need to go to catch the 8:00 bus downtown, but will be on the next one at 8:30. I will be able to stay down there a couple hours. I have a few things to do before leaving. Glad that Lil Dad saw the egg this morning. It's COLD here this morning, but not windy, and it's to be sunny.

Heading out to catch the bus shortly. I cannot post from my phone while downtown. And as for the falcons looking down, they often do that. I've never figured out what they're looking at, but sometimes they eat on lower ledges below the nest ledge.

Good to see things normal since an egg was laid. Just saw her standing outside the box and she already looks like she's ready to lay another one. Hoping we get the normal 4 eggs again. Should be another one tomorrow. :7val: FIRST DAY OF SPRING

I took a screen shot of all cams so I could see their times.

I think this is important when viewing

point- 12:55.50

stick- 12:56:50
box- 12:56:20
other one- 12:56:36

so point is the slowest one. and it is a whole minute behind stick time. an d30 slower than Box and 46 seconds slower than other cam.
so if you see on e fly off stick , it iwll be a whole minute before you see it at point , and vice versa. so if you see one fly toward university and one i s on point, could be one form point.
I think you get the point.

just thought thi s was important to keep in mind

I spent two and a half hours downtown this morning and saw nothing out of the ordinary. When I got there around 9:00 Niecey was working on a big breakfast on the point while Little Dad watched from the stick. Not too long after that I watched the first mating on the point. Little Dad returned to the stick, waited a while, and then there was a second mating on the point. He then circled WAY over my head and I lost track of where he went, but finally found him perched on top of a cell phone tower on top of 333 Market. At 26 stories, it's the tallest building in Harrisburg, so he surely had a great vantage point from up there. Saw Niecey go into the scrape, so I went into the train station to use the potty. Went back up to the garage roof, and found Little Dad working on some breakfast on the 13th floor ledge, one ledge below the nest ledge. He worked on it for a while, and then took the thing to the point. Niecey came out of the scrape and ate the rest of it, while Little Dad flew back over to the stick. When Niecey finished her meal she flew over to her favorite spot underneath the roof of the U Building. It cannot be seen from the cams, but is below the long section of the U roof along Market Street. She was there when I got on the 11:40 bus, and Little Dad was on the fat part of the stick. A non birding sighting was seeing Air Force One flying low along the Susquehanna to do a touch and go at our airport. It comes our way frequently, as our airport is not real busy and has a super long runway, as it used to be an Air Force base.
